Care Home Welcomes Shapemaster
A new 10-station suite of Shapemaster power assisted exercise stations has created a unique gym for the residents of the brand-new Ocean Heights Care Home in Minster-on-Sea on the Isle of Sheppey.
The gym provides accessible and social exercise for the residents of the new 50-bed facility for people living with disabilities, which owner Ernie Batten sees as a unique benefit for prospective customers and their families.
Ernie saw the value of the equipment for members of Serco Leisure and Swale Community Leisure’s Health Studio at Sheppey Leisure Complex and felt the machines would add value to his new home:
“The equipment will help our residents remain fit and healthy every day and the Covid pandemic has shown us all how important this is. Our customers and their families will feel reassured that they will enjoy a high quality of life in our new home”.
The 10-station circuit has the look, feel and all the benefits that exercisers would experience in a leisure centre but with the accessible features such as the swivel seat on the Cross Cycle Plus and safety accessories that make Shapemaster a safe and comfortable exercise solution. The seated range enables exercisers to enjoy the vitally important social experience as residents go round the circuit together.
